Alex was a kind and inlelligent gentleman. We were friends in Lenape and his family were loving to Alex and welcoming to me when I was a guest at their home. It saddens me that as we drift apart in our lives, it takes the final parting to renew old memories.

I had no idea that Alex was born in the Salvation Army Home and Hospital for Unwed Mothers in Philadelphia and was adopted by William and Mildred Hubb. It certainly says a lot about his parents and the times  of the forties. How sad for the  tens of millions of lives that were never lived, terminated by abortions and robbed of the life lived by Alex.

I am so sad to hear (belatedly) of Alex Hubb's passing.  He and I were good friends and next door neighbors as kids.  We swam in our pond in summer, skated on it in winter and ran through the nearby fields.  I am at a loss for words.  God bless and rest in peace, my friend.
