Judy was pretty, smart, a terrific athlete, a dear friend.  She was an inspiration to me in many ways and I still miss her after all these years.

Judy was an amazing person. Whether in the classroom or on the athletic field, she was  -  INTENSE!  Have fond memories of double dating with Judy.  Odd, though, I don't think I ever saw her smile ........

I have tried to write a note about Judy several times, but to this day I have trouble understanding and accepting her death.  We were in many classes together and I have many memories of the intelligence and faith she displayed in each of them, but perhaps the most inspiring memory was from Mr Horan's English class where she wrote and presented an essay on the existence of God based on the operation of the human eye.  Today we would call this the divine design argument, but fifty years ago it was simply a courageous and inspired statement of faith.  I wish she were still with us in the flesh as well as the spirit.

Judy (Gussie) was truly a remarkable individual. To this day I find it difficult to write about her without feeling so sad.  We were such good friends. Back in high school we had a great time just being kids , laughing and enjoying life. I miss her to this day.

Rest in Peace dear friend.
