I received an email from Marge (Pawlik) Schickler regarding one of our classmates, Sylvia Arlotti, and copied Marge's comments below.
"Although we knew her as Sylvia, her actual name was Silvana M Arlotti. She was a very kind and gentle person with strong ties to her parents. I could not locate an actual obituary - just a death notice and the SSDI (Social Security Death Index). Sylvia was one of my best friends in High School. She aspired to be a photographer. I don't know if that ever happened. I remember one day we went to a studio so she could practice. She took and developed a photo of me and her instructor took one of her which she also developed. We had a lot of fun that day. She didn't have a lot of other friends as she mostly kept to herself and had commitments to her family. We lost contact after the 25th Class reunion. I tried unsuccessfully to find her a few times, but as with most thinks, life got in the way."

Do you think this was the same Sylvania Murphy that I remember?

Sad to have lost another classmate!
It would be a great service to the class if someone would check this SSDI against the list of missing classmates to see who else we have lost. I never heard of this index, thank you to Marge for this news.
