I first remember Norman from 1st Day School at Buckingham Friends Meeting (Quaker) Norman was definitely his own person. He was a sole protester in Doylestown during the civil rights movement. My husband and I would see him at the Candlewick in Buckingham throughout the years; his mustache was awesome! Always had a small smile on his face that said to me ," I know something you do not." but I believe he knew a lot more than something! Very taken back to see that he has passed on...
Norman was a great friend. I wore my "Ban the Bomb" button for many years. The last time I saw Norm he was strolling down the road between the tents at Woodstock in 1969, smiling and happy as ever. I was very sorry to hear that he was gone.
