I had a crush on Jayne Henry for many years. While at Lenape, I invited her to a school dance, and of course my father had to drive us because we were so young. At the end of the dance, we waited outside the main entrance for my father to pick us up to drive home. And we waited and waited. No cell phones at that time and there were no phones outside the school, so we waited. There was no one else waiting except Jayne and me. Finally after what seemed to be several hours, my father arrived and appologized for falling asleep on the couch. Jayne was very sweet about the situation but I never had the courage to ask her out again.

Jon Beard (Beard)

I, too, had a crush on Jayne.  We were sorta "steadies" for a brief while.  She deserved better, and we moved on.  Condolences to her family.  R.I.P.
