Wayne was, indeed, a very nice person.  For me, It was one of the highlights of the 50th Reunion week-end to see Wayne for the first time in 50 years.  Renewed thanks to all those classmates who worked so hard to make that week-end possible.   Best, Jon

Time flies by much too fast, but along the way, there are beautiful moments, that we'll keep forever in our hearts. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  Wayne was truly one of the good guys and will be missed.

Wayne was one of the sweetest guys in our class.  I was so sad to hear he was in hospice and then to see the obit in today's paper.  He had a smile that never quit and was just a warm, wonderful person, generous to a fault.  He will be missed very much by all of us who knew him.  Rest in peace, Wayne.  The hard part's over.

Love,

Odette (Butruille) Rossi

when i read the email notice re wayne's passing, i immediately remembered his smiling face.  then checking the intell obit with his antler picture... yes that's the wayne i remember!   what a great classmate.  always friendly, steady and a good person all around.  his obit describes him well.  i remember wayne as one of our class leaders- maybe not as an officer- just a good leader.  not a big person physically, but definitely a big person in life.  i've thought of wayne and howard periodically.  great brothers who i hope are together again.

Hi Jean,

Sorry to hear that Wayne has left us and I wish you and your family my sympathy and that quickly you are surprised by happy moments each day. Grand children are good at providing these, so you and we are lucky to have them.

Sunny regards,Rob

Seeing Wayne's graduation photo in the Intell showed the wonderful guy we all knew and respected.  His obituary captured the essence of who he was and was beautifully composed.  As stated by other classmates he was fun, helpful, respected and just a great guy to be associated with.  I'm so glad he was able to attend our 50th reunion......it was truly a highlight for me and I know many others.

My thoughts and prayers go to his wife Jean and family members........you were the lucky ones as you had him in your lives for 50 years while we, for the most part, have our 4 years together as the Class of 63.

Rest in Peace my Christmas King........say hello to Howard for me.

Jean.  My thoughts and prayers go to you in this sad time.  I didn't know Wayne well, but he was one of us for four years - that makes him one of us forever.  Linda

Thank you, everyone for remembering Wayne. He spoke often of the good memories he had of the "Class of 63". He was a very special person.
